Transport 

The Transport Group is currently inactive due to a lack of capacity amongst our existing volunteers. Transition Worcester would like to focus on reducing reliance on the car and making the transition to alternatives such as walking, cycling and public transport. As fuel prices continue to increase, this makes sense for our pockets as well as our planet.

Objectives for the group would include:

• Promotion of existing alternatives such as walking and cycling routes in Worcester, public transport options and car share schemes.
• Encouraging and supporting improvements to our transport system.
