Our Data Protection Officers are the members of Transition Worcester’s Core Group.

To sign up to our mailing list you must be at least 16 years of age.

We use Mailchimp (www.mailchimp.com)as a data processor to administer our mailing list and send out newsletters. When you sign up to our mailing list, we ask for your name, email address, and details of which Transition Worcester groups or projects you are interested in. We use this information to inform you about activities and events based on your declared interests.

We will not share your contact details with any third party. By signing up to our mailing list you consent to be contacted by Transition Worcester. If you do not provide a valid email address then we will be unable to keep you updated with our activities.

We will keep this personal data until you withdraw your consent, either by clicking a link in an email from us or emailing transitionworcester@gmail.com, or until we deem that you are no longer actively interested.

If you book a place on one of our events, we ask for your name, email address, and a mobile phone number. This is to allow us to contact you in the event of changes or cancellation.

This information is deleted within 28 days following the event, and will not be used to contact you about any other events unless you have also signed up to our mailing list.

You have the right to view and amend the data we hold about you, and to withdraw your consent at any time. This can be done by clicking a link in an email, or emailing transitionworcester@gmail.com. We will then respond to your request within 28 days.
